Peer providers
Crestwood is recognized as a leader in peer-provided services, including our corporate leadership team. We actively recruit, hire and train people with lived experience. This is a Best Practice for reduction and elimination of coercive treatment, as well as a Promising Practice in recovery-based services. In 2014 Crestwood was identified as a national leader in peer employment presenting a SAMHSA national webinar on Mutuality and Collaboration.
Crestwood is proud to announce that our own Mertice “Gitane” Williams is now a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) and an International Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (ICPRS) by the California Consortium of Addictions Programs and Professionals (CCAPP).
